Yes! Camp is still a thing and happening!! In light of COVID-19, it is our priority to keep our parents and small creative artists safe! We are taking our summer camp to the next level and engaging with our SCAs online through workshops & activities! We are excited to do this because every child can join in regardless of location! Despite this time, our SCAs deserve a fun, creative summer and we are here to give it to them! KidsACT will engage with your creative child every week for 9 weeks and include two professional artist hosting workshops as well as a daily check in. OUR THEMES & DATES
Through our workshops and consistent engagement, KidsACT professionals will announce a project that will be completed each week. These creative projects will be exciting, fun & engaging!
Through voice and instrumentation, your SCA will be free to discover their own voice through melodies and rhythms, given and self-written. Your SCA will understand the anatomy of the voice, breath control, warm-ups, and the wonderful world of music through multiple genres.

Through movement workshops, your SCA will learn the history of different styles, demonstrate proper care for their bodies and truly have the freedom to be themselves while growing comfortable with self-expression through physical motion
Through creative writing, spoken word and poetry, your SCA will be able to enhance their writing skills and performance abilities while learning to communicate their own thoughts, emotions, and ideas through written and spoken mediums.

Through acting and musical theatre, your SCA will learn the history of plays as well as develop proper vocal and speech warm-ups, improvisation skills, audition tips, and dance techniques that can be executed in the community or on Broadway! Your SCA will be able to take on another role and be able to express themselves through someone else's story.

Through a lens and sound, your SCA will learn proper sound and video production. With today’s easy access to cameras, your SCA can channel their desire to capture moments in time, tell stories through pictures/film, and gain beginners’ editing techniques

While the main themes will have specific dates, arts & crafts will be implemented into the curriculum all summer long. Your SCA will be able to experiment with their innovative mind during “paint and sips” (grape juice!), sketches, and canvas stretching to show how art can not only be cool but can also positively change their attitude

While the main themes will have specific dates, cooking & baking will also be implemented into the curriculum all summer long. Through the creation of baked goods and delicacies, your SCA will be able to enhance their preparation and organizational skills while making creative cuisines.
